Is there a good reference on how to create a sudoku puzzle? Also how are puzzles classified as' easy, medium or hard...? Thanks Fdan

My comment has to do with not being able to look at the larger puzzle grid for an extended period of time due to high ratio of background color (white) to numbers (brown or blue). I'm wondering if others have requested using a larger font size in the large grid to make it a little less trying on the eyes? Outside that, keep up the good work, it's the best site I have found. I most enjoy that it lets you know what it is doing rather than simply crunching out a solved puzzle and leaving you in the dark as to how the solution was derived.
Mr Stuart: Thank you for your web page. Do you know where I could find sudokus with multiple solutions ?

That's an unusual demand. I could make them, a small modification to my program. Exactly how many solutions do you want per puzzle?

Andrew, you are a true genius. With that said, let me add that I am very sad about your helper. It was a real challenge to do the sudoku puzzles, then the jigsaws, then the killers, by brainpower alone. It meant something to be at the top of the 300 list. Now all one has to do is go to the Sudoku helper, or not the jigsaw helper, type in the numbers, take the steps and watch the solution appear. And it can be done in under 10 minutes. So what?? I have made my views known on the forums about using computers to solve the puzzles. I still think it is wrong.

Hi Walter, I'm very aware of the problem and I will be adding a stopper to the page as soon as possible. That was meant to have happened soon after the release but with Michaels passing away a whole load ot stuff has gone to the back burner. It is an important priority however. There will be a notice when its done.
